An investment of $4.3M will enable the development of 16 game prototypes, in addition to three rich interactive media, one social media and two software applications.
The Experimental Stream’s Prototyping Program allocates funding to projects at the early stages of building a product to demonstrate its intended functionalities and design. Specifically, this phase is for experimenting, testing and validating different concepts and hypotheses to arrive at a first functional prototype.
Since 2010, CMF has invested $72.0M in 334 prototypes.

Francophone Minority Program
A total of 16 convergent projects will receive $6.1M in funding as part of the first round of production financing under the Francophone Minority Program.
