Of the 10 projects, five are documentaries, three are dramas, one is Children’s & Youth, and one is Variety and Performing Arts. Projects originated from Ontario (7), British Columbia (2) and Québec (1).

Since 2010, the CMF has provided $6.4M to 38 projects as part of its Diverse Languages Program. To view a complete list of new projects that received Diverse Languages funding, please click here.

The Diverse Languages Program supports productions reflecting Canadian diversity by funding projects in languages other than English, French, or Aboriginal languages. This program is part of the CMF's convergent stream; thus, projects funded through this program must include content to be developed for distribution on at least two platforms, one of which must be television.
