CMF announces over $1M investments in codevelopment and coproduction with Denmark and New Zealand
Toronto, March 18, 2019 – The Canada Media Fund (CMF) today announced the results of its partnerships with two international funding organisations. Through individual collaborations with the Danish Film Institute (DFI) and New Zealand’s NZ On Air, six projects will receive investments totalling over CAD$1M.
The CMF and DFI are partnering for a second year in a row, with the DFI approximately matching the CMF’s investments for a total of over CAD$278K to fund the codevelopment of four digital media projects.

Now in the fifth year of their partnership, CMF and NZ On Air will this year fund the production of two kids’ digital media projects by investing a total of over CAD$740K, with both organisations contributing approximately half the funds.
