CMF statement on management changes
Toronto, August 30, 2018 – Following an article published today in La Presse, the Canada Media Fund (CMF) released the following statement from Valerie Creighton, President and CEO, related to management changes at the CMF.
“On behalf of the CMF, I would like to congratulate Stéphane Cardin on his move to Netflix, just announced today, where he will take on the role of Director of Public Policy for Canada. I am certain that the Canadian screen-based sector will continue to have in Stéphane a staunch ally and supporter and that in his new role, he will continue to be a champion of Canadian production.”

She is based in Montréal and will bring with her a new perspective on our relationships with content consumption and technology, and its impact on the Canadian audiovisual industry.”
