Meet the MADE ambassadors

After launching a nationwide search for passionate digital creators, the MADE | NOUS campaign has found our new MADE ambassadors! Liz Duff, Haley Robinson, and Andrian Makhnachov will be creating original social media content for MADE’s channels, covering Canadian entertainment, and celebrating local talent.

Halifax-based Liz Duff is one of the top creators in the Canadian pop culture commentary space. With her trademark wit and expert eye, she deconstructs and analyses the hottest entertainment stories for her followers. Haley Robinson is a two-spirit, mixed Plains Cree-Filipinx actor, model, and creator living in Ottawa. They speak openly about their identity, cultures, and life with their audience. Lastly, Andrian Makhnachov is a Ukranian-Canadian who recently immigrated to Regina, Saskatchewan, and his content showcases his unique journey of adjusting to Canadian living.

The trio discussed the upcoming initiative during a panel at Buffer Festival in Toronto on November 9. “One of the things that’s really exciting about this campaign is the fact that there are plenty of stories happening every day in the world of entertainment, whether it’s at a film festival or on a TV set, and MADE gives us the chance to be there at every step of the process and share that excitement with our audiences,” said Duff.

Part of the mission of the MADE | NOUS brand is to highlight voices from underrepresented communities, particularly Indigenous voices. “As an Indigenous and second-generation Filipinx person, I’ve felt the need to see more representation of BIPOC people in media in Canada,” said Robinson at the panel. “I’m so excited to spotlight all the Indigenous creators I’ve come to know and love!”

With this new campaign, MADE | NOUS aims to create bridges between traditional and digital media so audiences of all ages and backgrounds can discover even more homegrown stories. “I hope that through the MADE campaign, I can share and celebrate the creativity of all Canadian creators, and make sure they get recognition on a worldwide scale,” said Makhnachov.

As a bilingual brand, MADE | NOUS has also introduced three French-speaking digital creators for the campaign – Angie Augustin, Adam Déragon, and Antoine Bouchard-Côtes – who will focus on creating French-language social media content for NOUS’s channels.
